With the announcement of the schemes “Support for tourism investments” and “Agri-food – Primary production and processing of agricultural products – Fisheries” is expected in the next period to continue the new development law 4887/2022, according to the Ministry of Development and Investment. However, the curtain has been opened with some delay on the “Manufacturing – Supply Chain” aid scheme, with the notice running until 31 October 2022.
The purpose of the ‘Manufacturing – Supply Chain’ scheme is to support investment projects in the manufacturing sector, with the exception of the processing of agricultural products and investment projects in the supply chain sector, aimed at technological, production, administrative and organisational upgrading, as well as innovative and outward-looking development and growth.
The total budget of the scheme for the year 2022 is €150 million. EUR 75 million, of which EUR 75 million euros relate to the type of aid of the tax exemption. The remaining 75 million euros relate to the types of aid of the grant, the leasing subsidy and the subsidy for the cost of the employment created and come from the Public Investment Budget of the Ministry of Development and Investment.
