Alongside his agricultural work, he holds strong academic credentials, including a postgraduate degree in Strategic Management of Environment, Disasters and Crises (National and Kapodistrian University of Athens), and is also a certified adult trainer specializing in cotton cultivation.   • Connecting scientific knowledge, education, and agricultural practice, contributing to the Living Lab’s role as a knowledge-sharing hub.

His experience in agricultural policy, local government, and environmental management strengthens the strategic dimension of the Living Lab’s actions.

Goals & Motivations

Dimitrios Tziachristas’s main goal is to improve the efficiency of field crops while protecting and enhancing soil fertility. He places particular emphasis on reducing the waste of natural resources, adapting to the effects of climate change, and transitioning to more resilient and sustainable production models.

He firmly believes that sustainable agriculture is not merely a technical choice but a strategic responsibility toward the farming community and society:
