The event will be welcomed by Mr. Ioannis Smarnakis, President of P.E.T.E.T., Dr. Alexandros Stefanakis, President &#8211; Scientific Director of BioResearch and Iamou Kalathaki, Director of Kappa Studies, Food Technologist MSc.<\/p>\n<p>After the welcoming speeches and the speeches of the dignitaries, there will be 2 rounds of discussions, the first on Food Production, Quality &amp; Safety as Tools for Innovation, moderated by Ioanna Balafouti, Editor of Olive magazine and MACC partner. Participants:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ioannis Smarnakis, President of P.E.T.T.E.T., Director of the <span lang=\"EN-GB\">Plant<\/span>&amp;<span lang=\"EN-GB\">R&amp;D<\/span> of Lavdas <span lang=\"EN-GB\">AE<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Dr. Alexandros Stephanakis, President &#8211; Scientific Director of Bioresearch<\/li>\n<li>Evdokia Krystallidou, Director of Innovation Office &#8211; <span lang=\"EN-GB\">American<\/span>Farm School<\/li>\n<li>Spyros Balantinos, Quality Assurance Manager of the Balantinos Cheese Factory, President of Cheese Makers of Chania Prefecture<\/li>\n<li>Alexandros Markantonakis, <span lang=\"EN-GB\">Cluster<\/span> Coordinator &#8220;Tastes of Crete &#8211; <span lang=\"EN-GB\">Delights<\/span> <span lang=\"EN-GB\">of<\/span> <span lang=\"EN-GB\">Crete<\/span>&#8220;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>At the end of the discussion there will be questions from the audience and immediately afterwards Anastasia Stefanaki, Food Technologist, Head of the Department of Bioresearch Studies, will moderate the second discussion of the day on Safety and Hygiene in Mass Catering.
