With innovations in agri-food products and new perspectives for 2023, the Mediterranean Agri-Food and Skills Centre,<\/span> just in its first year of operation, held<\/span> its<\/span> first<\/span> Extraordinary<\/span> General Assembly of its partners, in a very positive atmosphere,<\/span> on Monday 19\/12\/2022 at the Technical Schools of <\/span>Heraklion Chamber of Commerce.<\/p>\n

With a<\/span> statutory<\/span> quorum, Dr. <\/b>
\n Michael Katharakis,<\/span>
\n<\/b> as <\/span>MACC ‘s trustee <\/span>, showed the dynamics of the<\/span> newly established company, <\/span> introducing 13 new members to the scheme, from the business and scientific world, presenting the first two integrated innovative products<\/span>:<\/p>\n

    MACC as a lever for the development of sustainable agri-food entrepreneurship<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<\/p>\n

    During the meeting, 30 new capabilities (investment products) in development were presented, while the AGM unanimously decided to increase the company’s share capital<\/span>.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

    The General Assembly <\/span> was <\/span>chaired<\/span> by Elias Didaskalou<\/b>, co-founder of <\/span>Anastasiadis Group Property Advisors<\/i>, partner of MACC<\/span> and the main panel was also chaired by Economist Grigoris Kokolakis<\/b><\/span>.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

    MACC is growing stronger by creating<\/span> new jobs, monitoring and shaping developments in a constantly evolving technological environment, through<\/span> new methods in the agri-food sector, investing in research and the synergy between academia<\/span> and entrepreneurship<\/span>.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

    The <\/span> MACC was staffed from the outset by the administrator Dr. \u039c. Katharaki<\/b> and the responsible<\/span> management and operation of the company \u039c. Voydaski<\/b>, while steadily throughout the duration of its action, the <\/span>MACC argued the professor \u03ba. Manolis Koudoumas<\/b>, the Network Development Manager Mr C. Manousakis<\/b> and the Mr N. Fakidaris<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    A few words about the MACC<\/b><\/p>\n

    The establishment of the MACC is a flagship initiative of the research institutions of the Region of Crete and innovative businesses with the main objective to contribute to the enhancement of the competitiveness of the agri-food sector through the exploitation of existing innovative technologies.<\/p>\n

    MACC focuses on the implementation of innovative business plans by exploiting the knowledge generated in research laboratories, technological and entrepreneurial institutions,<\/span> as well as in production units in Greece and abroad.<\/p>\n

    The<\/span> MACC throughits<\/span> corporate composition (38 partners) is a cluster of clusters,<\/span> with a high level of applied know-how and scientific training.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/p>\n
